I am a bit excited this morning. Alec came up to me all
excited because he worked at home on his inquiry project. He came back to
school with a couple of writing pieces that are very well done. While I
tried to tell him I was proud and impressed it didn't mean as much as his
partners looking at his work and telling him what a great job he did. The
expression of pride on his face is what makes teaching an invaluable experience
for me. I am glad I am around for the ride to see the growth of this fine
young man.
This is one example of the great things
that your kids are doing. Each and every day they work so hard here at
school. They are self-motivated and driven, most of the time! The
student centered model we are using in class for science and social is really getting
them to learn more than what the government is telling me what I am supposed to
teach them! They are a great group to work with thanks for letting me
borrow them for the school year.
